Track Pants Are the New It Pants
Comfortable and Stylish
Track pants are trending — and I love it! Track pants have finally received the elevation they deserve. They’re such an easy and versatile piece. Track pants can be worn with sneakers (duh) but with heels, boots, ballet flats, and crocs. No matter the footwear, track pants (especially wide-leg ones) will make your outfit chic and cool.
I’m a sporty type of gal. I prefer pants over skirts. Track pants (sweatpants) have been my go-to for the past few years. They’re easy to slip on, comfortable, and can be worn with any top. Since track pants are trending, their styling has reached new levels. Women wear track pants with blazers, vests, blouses, and crop tops.
I prefer to wear my track pants with boots or sneakers, especially my Adidas Sambas. As mentioned before, I like the wide-leg track pants style. They add a bit of chic to an outfit and give the wearer permission to dress them up or down. If I don’t like wearing a hoodie or sweatshirt, I’ll wear a denim jacket and fitted tee or a blazer and graphic tee.

Fashion editors have long loved elevating the humble track pants, pairing them with boxy blazers, silky camis, and even heels. We love the look for its laissez-faire approach, and, what with our overrunning hangovers from lockdown, we’ve accumulated quite the collection of trackies.
For the evening, the key is to keep it simple and make the track pants the look's focus. These days, you needn’t be anywhere near a gym to wear your favorite workout clothes. ICYMI, tennis dresses were the look du jour over the summer, while every nearly influencer paired athletic shorts with polished blouses. And now, with fall in full swing, there’s another sporty staple infiltrating the scene — enter track pants. Thanks to the new iterations from cult-favorite labels (Loewe and Wales Bonner included), the relaxed bottoms are shaping to be one of the season’s biggest trends.
